A second version [link]

I've worked a lot on the gradient banding, added a light pattern and some light noise. The resulting png was 4Mb large so I've uploaded jpg file ( ~950Kb each ). Thanks Notmiown for feedbacks!

You did an awesome job on getting the banding out. I had a little banding on lucid loop, you've inspired me to fix that. Thanks for your extra effort. You are very professional.

Very nice. I see there is a little banding on the gradient where you see some lines. I have been trying to figure out what causes it and I thank I have. I won't bore with the long story, but basically if you make the centre brighter and the outside darker it should go away. Maybe you don't see it on your monitor, it shows up more on cheap LCD's. Sorry if you already knew, I like to share when I figure out how to make better graphics.

Thanks! This is/was a great problem, and I thought there wasn't a real solution. The preview has much more strength in "lines" than the pngs. In some previous artwork I tried to make pictures with bigger resolution (300 dpi and more ) and that made a bit the trick (however photoshop has a better behavior than gimp). I will sure try your suggestion! Thanks for feedback!
